Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, said that Gov. Wike has consistently outperformed him in terms of politics because Wike wanted a southern president and succeeded in getting one, while Wike wanted a northern president and was unsuccessful in getting one. In his opinion,
“In terms of politics, we have very little difference, but he has always scored above me.” He wanted a southern president; he got one. I wanted a Northean president, which I didn’t get. So he has done very well. At the state level, I know the challenges I faced, but he faced more challenges. And I wonder how he delivered 100%. To state assembly, 32/32.
