During the interview, Dele Farotimi argued that on the 25th of February, several Nigerians trooped out in their numbers to cast their votes for their preferred candidates but, instead of celebrating the outcome, Nigerians are waiting for the court to declare the actual winner of the election.

He said though he supported Peter Obi of the Labour Party, other Nigerians had their preferences but, INEC that had the duty of conducting a free and fair election, did everything to make sure that the election was not free and fair.  Continue Full Reading>>>

Dele Farotimi said “We had an election but we are waiting for the courts to tell us the winner. We trooped out in our numbers on the 25th of February across the length and breath of Nigeria.

I supported Peter Obi, other people had their preferences. That’s fine, that’s the beauty of what is called democracy.

But INEC that is charged with the duties of ensuring a peaceful, free and fair election, did everything to ensure that nothing of the sort happened.”
