While ruling on the matter, Justice Haruna Tsammani noted that televising the court case is not provided for by the constitution of the country, noting that the court lacks the powers to make such decision, Daily Trust reported.
Speaking further, justice Tsammani made it known that the panel sitting as PEPT only has the power to listen to presidential cases and nothing more, noting the issues of televising court proceedings is a policy matter.
