The CNG also declared that the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele should not be allowed to leave the country until all allegations made against him were cleared.
CNG Spokesman, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, made this known in Abuja on Thursday during a press briefing.

Tinubu Returns To Nigeria on Sunday

The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will return to Nigeria from Paris, France on Sunday, May 21, 2023, eight days to his inauguration as Nigeria’s 16th President.
A source close to the President-elect stated that Tinubu was set to return home after nine days in Europe where he had gone to seek investors and as well fine-tune his inauguration plans.
Recall that Tinubu left Nigeria on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 for the latest trip, just two weeks after returning from an earlier one-month vacation in France.
A statement from his media office signed by Tunde Rahman had noted that the trip was to enable the President-elect perfect his transition plans with his key aides without undue pressure.
Gunmen kidnap corps members returning from camp in Rivers

Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped some National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
It was gathered that the victims were on their way back from the recent orientation camping exercise in Ondo State. They were abducted around 9 p.m., Tuesday, on their way to Port Harcourt.
The incident was confirmed by a witness, who called a radio station in the city to announce the abduction of her sister-in-law and colleagues.
The witness said the corps members were abducted on the Rumuji axis of the East-West Road in Emohua, Rivers State.
Five of the corps members were said to have escaped the abduction and reported at the Rumuji Divisional Police Station.
Number of victims abducted by the kidnappers could not be ascertained at press time.
No trust, confidence in Nigeria’s judiciary – Dahiru, others lament

As the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal continues its sitting, a former Chairman of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal matters, Umar Dahiru, says Nigerians have lost hope in the country’s judicial system.
The former lawmaker identified corruption, ethnicity, religion and others as the major obstacles to justice dispensation in Nigeria.
He said the book is coming at the right time when Nigerians seek justice to electoral issues during the February and March elections.
Dahiru lamented that justice is sleeping in Nigeria, a metaphoric description of Nigerians losing confidence in the country’s judiciary system.
