
Two ladies who were said to have used fake naira notes to buy goods from a 72-year-old trader in Delta State have been arrested by men of the state police command following the alarm raised by the old woman, the command announced on Thursday. Continue Full Reading>>>
The two ladies, whose names were given as Favour Aloh, aged 23 years and Ginikash Nina, aged 32 years, were trailed and arrested by operatives of the A Division of the command after buying the goods from the woman.

It was gathered that the operatives received a complaint from the trader that while she was in her shop, the two ladies came to buy goods from her and paid with the fake notes. Continue Full Reading>>>
She was said to have discovered that the notes were fake after the ladies had left with the goods, prompting her to raise the alarm and later lodged a complaint about the issue.
According to a statement by the state police command through its Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe and posted on the Facebook wall of the command on Thursday, the police operatives were said to have trailed the women and they were eventually arrested.
The statement added that they had given useful information to the police operatives while more investigations are ongoing.
