Professor Soludo made the statement in an interview with Channels Television during the Politics Today program when Seun Okinbaloye asked him to give Nigerians an understanding about how he feels now, because before the election, his permutation was that the outcome of the presidential election may not be in favour of his brother, Peter Obi, Seun asked whether he feels like he has said so.

However, he said that is in the past and that the election has come and gone. He said he only said that he said because of history.
