Recall that Lamidi and his camp were at the presidential election Tribunal today to follow up with the proceeding of the petition filed by the party against the victory of the standard flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress in last election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress defeated Atiku Abubakar and other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the election held on the 25th of February, 2023 to clinch the apex political seat in the country. The presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are currently challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. The presidential election Tribunal commenced sitting last week Monday to hear the cases by the parties.

Reacting on Channels Television, Akin Osuntokun said; “I think the man(Lamidi Apampa) is obsessed with recognition, when they were there, he led his gang of people to come to me and said he wants to seat where I am sitting and I told him I did not know him”
He noted that Lamidi Apampa asked “don’t you know me?” and he replied accordingly.
