Nyesom Wike reveals what his successor should do in the event that the EFCC initiates an investigation following his tenure

Nyesom Wike, the executive governor of Rivers State, has made clear what Siminialayi Fubara should do in the event that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, initiates an inquiry following his administration.

On May 29, Nyesom Wike, a controversial politician known for his outspokenness, will step down from office. Siminialayi Fubara, the governor-elect and previous PDP nominee for governor, will take over.

Governor Nyesom Wike responded by saying;

“I am happy I am leaving office fulfilled. I’m leaving office with my shoulders high. I am leaving office very well. I’m not leaving office to run away so that EFCC would not come; I’m leaving office and I will stay here; I am not going anywhere. When the EFCC come, go (Fubara) and show them the projects”
