Bola Tinubu, the president-elect of Nigeria, has been urged to convene a special gathering to address the grievances of the Igbo people in order to forge a united Nigeria, according to the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdurosheed Akanbi.

In a statement that he personally signed and made accessible to journalists on Sunday, Oluwo referred to Nigerians as spirits housed in a single body. Additionally, he mentioned how some Igbos’ memories of the civil war are still recent, and he begged the President-elect to suggest setting up a committee or conference to handle this.
“The brotherhood spirit should be seen and experienced,” it says. Nigerians are like various water barrels. The only difference between the barrels’ colors and their contents is their color. Some Igbos’ attitudes and statements have suggested that the wounds and harm left by the Nigerian Civil War, which lasted from July 1967 to January 15, 1970, were still very much present.
