“Don’t mix up the bishops and the Catholic Church, folks. I am the Catholic Church’s Bishop. The Canon Law Code serves as a guide for every minister in the Catholic Church. The legislation is in place. I am Matthew Kukah, and it also states that I am not allowed to engage in party politics.
“Partisan politics is not permitted for clerics. Not because we have no partisan stake in terms of who we support, but we are not permitted to be involved in partisan politics”.
