According to The PUNCH, “the inauguration of Tinubu would be attended by no fewer than 65 foreign leaders, including Heads of State.”
The former governor of Lagos State will take the oath of office as Nigeria’s 16th president on May 29 in Eagle Square, Abuja.

PUNCH reported that, “The Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic will be invested in Tinubu on Thursday, and the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic will be invested in Vice-President-elect Kashim Shettima.”
On May 27, “former Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta will give a lecture titled “Deepening Democracy for Integration and Development” as part of the inaugural schedule of events.”
PUNCH further reported, “Other events include the Regimental Dinner in the Commander-in-Chief’s honor at the Armed Forces Officers Mess scheduled for Tuesday, May 23; the Valedictory Federal Executive Council Meeting at the Council Chambers inside the Presidential Villa on May 24; the Public Lecture and Juma’at prayer at the National Mosque on May 26; the Children’s Day Parade and Party on May 27; and an Interdenominational Church Service at the National Christian Centre on May 28.”
