The businessman who discussed this issue on his official Instagram page claimed that despite the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) governor Godwin Emefiele changing the Naira notes four months prior, Nigerians are still using the old notes and that many people have died while attempting to use the new notes.

Isaac Fayose asked Godwin Emefiele about the 259 billion Naira he received to print the new notes, adding that he hopes they will continue to question him after his term is through.
