While reacting to a question directed at him by a Twitter user, Joe Abah in his Twitter handle, asked whether it is appropriate for someone who won by a landslide in the 36 states of the federation to be denied the presidency simply because he failed to get 25% of votes cast in the Federal Capital Territory.

He wondered whether it is appropriate for the wishes of about 210 million people to be suppressed by the wishes of 3 million people resident in the Federal Capital Territory.  Continue Full Reading>>>

“If you win by a landslide in all the 36 states of Nigeria but you don’t get 25% in the FCT, in a country of 213 million, do you think it makes sense for the wishes of some 210 million people to be subordinated to the wishes of 3 million people resident in the FCT?” He wrote.
