Yari who is in the race to be the 10th Senate President was on Arise TV this morning and one of the TV anchors, Rufai Oseni, asked why he should be Senate President when he failed to reduce the poverty level in his state whilst living an ostentatious life.  Continue Reading>>>

Responding, Yari said;

‘’What has Zamfara state have to do with the Senate President? Before me how many governors governed Zamfara state? Am I the first governor?

When asked what he did to change the poverty level, he continued;

‘’Am I the first governor? Am I not. It is on record that I was the governor and I have done my best. The issue of poverty is all over the Northern parts of the country. You know it so it is not the one that I can make a magic. ‘’
